Basic Job Function
Freeform/BII seeks an interior designer who will provide the following design services to dealership clients:
- Meet with clients to evaluate project needs and create a scope of work.
- Complete site visits as needed to confirm field measurements, plan-to-site adherence checks, and inventory verification.
- Determine product selections based on application requirements, budget, and aesthetic preferences.
- Prepare 2D space plans to confirm occupancies, orientations, and adjacencies within their space.
- Develop typicals, document standards, and select product finishes.
- Create 3D renderings with the potential to include AR/VR capabilities.
- Produce accurate product specifications and installation drawings using relevant software and standard processes.
- Work closely with account managers, operations team, and installation team to ensure order accuracy, meet client requirements, and provide excellent client experiences.
Skills, Experience & Personality
- A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited university
- Two years of experience working for a contract furniture dealership preferred
- Proficiency in using CET Designer preferred
- Experience working at a full-service design firm desired, not required
- Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit desired, not required
- Strong computer competency, with ability and curiosity to quickly learn new technology
- Detail oriented, organized, solid at managing your time and prioritizing tasks appropriately
- Proactive problem-solver committed to continuous improvement
- Enjoys collaborating within a tight-knit team with the ability for heads-down, autonomous work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, both internally and with clients
- Enjoys helping clients, presenting design concepts, and spending time with design-industry colleagues
- COVID-19 vaccination required to fulfill client mandates and keep our employees and partners healthy and safe
Compensation & Perks
Competitive base salary, full medical benefits package, 401k (with profit sharing available after one year of employment), discretionary annual bonus, unlimited PTO, NCIDQ payback, company-provided parking.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
