What are the responsibilities and job description for the Repack Supervisor position at BUSKE Logistics?
Direct supervise and coordinate the activities of the repack associates. Enforcing company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner within the guidelines of the employee handbook, customer requirements and GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices). To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily. Essential Functions:
1. Review the work/projects of the repack associates by preforming audits and monitoring the performance of each repack associate and job quality.
2. Preform the same duties as those being supervised or preform more difficult or skilled tasks or assist in the performance.
a. Report or discard all visual non-conformities, such as broken, torn, leaking or missing product per customers specifications.
3. Schedule and assign repack associates work as required.
4. Provide coverage for breaks and points of stalls to keep the flow of work moving at a smooth pace.
5. Keep track of inventory for repack bulk glass, cardboard material, and PPE.
6. Submit accurate reports on performance and progress utilizing the Daily Log Activity recorded keeping.
7. Prep, organize and set up repack projects within company and customer guidelines and time frame.
8. Working in Microsoft Office and our ERP system.
9. Daily/Weekly attendance record keeping.
10. Communicate temporary workers attendance and work performance to staffing agencies/ Operations Manager.
Leadership:
1. Direct, Train, Oversee and Motivate the Repack associates.
2. Adhere to all warehouse sanitation procedures.
3. Verify customer requirements are being met. Such as proper dress code, proper PPE, project guidelines, etc.
4. Maintain a safe and orderly environment, including proper disposal of daily waste and recyclable materials.
5. Preform special projects as requested by the manager.
6. Resolves personnel issues, complaints, or grievances. Report/Record work related injuries to Manager/HR and /or staffing agencies.
7. Able to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
