What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Technician position at BUSTEAM?

Would you like to accelerate your career while helping our customers move forward? As a Technician at Community Bus Services, you’ll do exactly that. Here, you’ll do preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles. You will also help our customers keep their vehicles in good shape and on the road.

Whether you’re looking for your first job out of school or have some vehicle repair experience, our Technician position may be a great fit for you.

Working alongside experienced supervisors we’ll teach you about our vehicle maintenance processes and the technology we use.

We also take pride in how clean our facilities and vehicles are, and we provide you with all the necessary major shop tools.

Requirements

· Minimum of two years verifiable experience.

· Diesel mechanic experience required.

· Computer diagnostic experience.

· Own a set of tools necessary to perform the duties.

· ASE Certified preferred.

· Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

· Must be willing to attend training sessions as needed.

· Class B CDL w/School Bus, Passenger, Air Brake or obtain CDL within 6 months of hire.

· Other duties as assigned.

We offer

· Steady Mon - Fri Day shift hours.

· Tool & Boot allowance of $600.00 per year.

· Will train to obtain CDL.

· 2 weeks of vacation after 1 year.

· 4 PTO days.
