What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent - PM Shift position at BW El Rancho Inn?
BASIC PURPOSE:
Check-in and check-out guests and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all BW El Rancho Inn policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Greet, register and assign rooms to guests; Generate electronic keys for guests using the Saflok key system; Responds to all guest inquiries and problems efficiently, promptly and professionally; Facilitate procedures in handling guest and administrative mail, special deliveries etc.; Compute guest accounts, collects payment and prepares change for guests; Handle all group arrivals according to procedure. Receive documents, files and distributes keys to guests; Participate in cross training offered throughout the hotel and is up to date on all training offered by BW El Rancho Inn; Communicate clearly and promptly any and all guest issues with other departments; Communicate all events of the shift to the supervisor on duty.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Coordinate work priorities with Front Office manager and/or Front Desk supervisor and provide assistance and perform other duties as requested by management, and attend meetings as required by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.75 per hour
