Summary/Objective
The Industry Sales Account Manager is responsible for the sale of the organization’s products and/or specific industry(ies) across North America. This includes provision of ongoing support to product distribution channel. This position reports to the Sales Director.
Essential Functions:
Develops and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets; responsible for outside sales; prospecting, consulting, and closing sales.
- Utilizes SAP for quoting, CRM, call/visit reports, customer notes, customer profile information, price lists and new customer entry
- Effectively manages existing and new accounts.
- Generates sales reports; accurately and timely in completion.
- Acts as a resource to clients; assists with negotiations, closing the sale and developing marketing plans.
- Assists with the planning of and attends trade shows.
- Participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs.
- Partners with environmental services and technical services to support customer needs.
- Develops technical industry knowledge to effectively support customer needs and business growth.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or 3-5 years industrial manufacturing sales or technical experience
Proficient computer skills in SAP and Microsoft Office
Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and satisfactory motor vehicle report
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience calling on maintenance managers, process engineers and facility managers with the power, minerals, metals, and chemical industries
Technical mindset as demonstrated via prior experience
Familiarity with production processes within industrial filtration

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have direct reports.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to climb ladder and conduct a physical assessment of equipment (bag house) at elevations of sixty (60) feet on average. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type
This is a full-time, exempt position.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
This position requires between 50-75% travel. Frequently travel is outside the local area and overnight.
