Senior UX Researcher and Designer

You possess a rare blend of research, design, and prototyping skills to apply to the following:
• Formulate UX research strategy and identify the appropriate methodologies to employ based on research objectives
• Conduct user research by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and leverage results of this data to inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes based on scalability requirements, as well as create websites, customapplications, and other interfaces that are easy to use
• Design and structure the human-centered research portion of projects by planning for and leading teams through fieldwork,findings analysis, and insights syntheses
• Participate in product ideation and conceptual development. Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team thatincludes creative and market leads, project management, strategists, and hardware and software developers
• Create visual designs that effectively communicate product function and brand identity, including the design and production ofscreen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements, and icons
• Produce user requirements specifications, journey maps, service blueprints, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts,interactive prototypes, and design specifications
• Utilize project management skills to follow up on user experience issues and modify design features to accommodate a widerange of end users
• Provide UCD, HCD, UX and related design subject training to internal and external audiences

• 5 years experience required.
• Intermediate understanding of human-centered design approaches, methods, principles and skills.
• Intermediate experience in the planning and execution of a variety of generative and evaluative design research methods.
• Intermediate command of visual and communication design principles with experience applying them to digital experiences.
• Intermediate understanding of design systems, information architecture, design patterns and interaction design.
• Proficiency with design and presentation applications (i. e. AdobePhotoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Paper, InVision)
• Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to present work to large groups.
• Able to function independently and in a team environment, with excellent collaboration skills.
• On-line portfolio demonstrating proficiency in conducting UX research and designing user interactions across digital experiences.

• Intermediate experience working in an Agile delivery environment with Agile frameworks and methodologies such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum, and Kanban.
• Experience with Jira management tools.

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
