What youll do:
The Benefits Administrator is responsible for supporting and administering the day-to-day operations of the HR department. Duties include administration of benefits, and special leave, and maintenance of HRIS systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with the day-to-day operations of the HR department.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Manages the administration of benefits, including insurance and 401k.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR staff.
- Executes annual benefits enrollment.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Performs monthly audits of benefit payroll deductions and request corrections from payroll as needed.
- Gather employee data and oversee the processing of monthly billings for all group plans.
- Provides customer service support to internal and external customers.
- Design and distribute materials for benefits orientations and open enrollment.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to, benefits and leave, productivity, recognition, and morale.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in human resources management or related field (preferred).
- 1 year of Human Resources or benefits administration experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with payroll management, HRIS, and ATS applications.
