The Dental Insurance Coordinator is partnered with the providers and the Practice Manager to drive the growth and success of the office by supporting excellence in patient care and exceeding patient service expectations.
Dental Insurance Coordinator is responsible for proactive management of the insurance authorization process. Supports providers by managing insurance pre-authorizations (initial/ongoing) process. Assists patients with the financial and authorization issues related to their care. Serves as a resource for insurance/authorization process for patients and providers and support staff. Assists with special projects as requested.

Summary -
Dental Insurance Coordinator must have an in-depth understanding of all patients’ insurances. Demonstrate ability to work independently with limited supervision, to resolve issues and attention to detail. Reliable/dependable work history with proven abilities of initiative, and proactive solving. Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills, flexibility to manage multiple tasks and ability to prioritize large workload. Minimum of two to four years of insurance experience preferred.
