This position will be responsible for providing operational support with all areas of Janitorial hiring. This position will take ownership of, manage and facilitate all Workday and all other tech-enabled tasks and processes associated with our Janitorial hiring and new-hire onboarding processes. This position will assist with position management within designated accounts, groups or regions. This position will post job requisitions for all janitorial positions. This position will contact and schedule matching job applicants for in-person application, hiring and on-boarding processes at a centralized location. This position will require up to 80% of local travel.Job Description
- Liaison between Service Delivery Managers, payroll, benefits, and HR Services
- Managing Workforce Org Structure within Workday
- Advanced-level functionality on Workday in the following areas:
- Creating Job Position
- Creating Job Requisition
- Assigning Primary and Secondary Recruiter Rights on Job Requisitions
- Posting Job Requisitions internally and externally
- Usage and management of group job-board accounts as may be required
- Reviewing all job applications on each job requisition thoroughly and consistently
- Contacting all qualified applicants on each job requisitions
- Manage job applicant flow:
- Schedule immediate appointment for application process
- Or place extra job applicants on waiting list for next available opportunity
- Create and manage job applicant pipeline
- Assist job applicants with Workday job requisition application process
- Conduct pre-employment background checks as required
- Move job applicants through Workday hiring processes/transfer to JDE and Kronos
- Assist job applicants through Workday new-hire onboarding processes
- Ensure appropriate forms are submitted separately as required:
- Direct Deposit Form with Voided Check or Bank Form
- Tax Forms (W4 plus local forms as applicable)
- Locally required new hire forms (D.C. new hire form)
- Conduct New Hire Orientation and EEO training for all selected job applicants.
- Schedule first work shift with intro to new manager for all new hire employees.
- Effective communication with all job applicants, bi-lingual Spanish ability required.
- Consistent demonstration and application of a friendly, welcoming, engaging and helpful demeanor with job applicants.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Possess a high school degree or an approved GED; *Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience: 2-3 years general office administration experience.
Hard Skills: Advanced proficiency with Workday, MS Office products
(Work, Excel and Outlook). Prior experience with Kronos and MS Teams a
plus.
Soft Skills: Effective communication skills. Bi-lingual Spanish required; along with the ability to demonstrate a consistently friendly, welcoming, engaging and helpful demeanor with job applicants.
