We are actively seeking a talented and experienced recruiter that excels at recruiting and is interested in expanding their skillset by leading all Human Resources (HR) related processes for a rapidly growing small business. This position aids in all aspects of the HR department. Duties will include: Collects and maintains HR data, processes paperwork and assists in administering human resources policies, procedures and programs including recruiting, performance management, and compensation planning. This position is desired to be located in the Charleston, SC area as a hybrid position, working in the office with the C2 President and Chief of Staff, as well as remote, as coordinated.
Job Duties:
- Leader who is directly responsible for nation-wide talent acquisition and recruitment processes. These positions may be project-based positions that work across multiple clients or they may be dedicated to a single client.
- Assist with development of position descriptions (PDs), salary surveys, and maintains the C2 Labs PD library
- Responsible for initial screening calls and verification of minimum requirements of potential candidates
- Responsible for onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Assist with benefit administration including new hire and open enrollment and compliance, working with a third-party PEO.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leave, compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace with a focus on positive employee morale and job retention
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies including ownership of annual updates to the Employee Handbook
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
- Conduct compensation analysis and salary surveys to ensure competitive rates and salaries
- Lead annual performance review process and ensure all documentation is maintained appropriately
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
- Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants.
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
- Identify areas for process improvement
- Responsible for updating the Applicant Tracking System for open job requisitions and tracking interviews and assessments with the team
Education/Training, Qualifications, and Certification:
- Associates in Human Resources or related field of study and 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of equivalent years of education and relevant experience
- Direct prior experience in recruiting
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office, as well as experience with ATS and HRIS systems.
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
- Excellent organizational management skills and attention to detail.
