Community Care Cooperative (C3) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Accountable Care Organization (ACO) governed by Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC). We are a fast-growing organization founded in 2016 with 9 health centers and now serving hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries who receive primary care at health centers and independent practices across Massachusetts. Job Summary
The Pharmacy Data and Reporting Analyst will be housed under C3’s subsidiary, Community Pharmacy Cooperative, LLC (CPC) and is a key member of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team. Working closely with the Director of Pharmacy Business Management, Director of Pharmacy Operations, Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services, and other members of the CPC team, the Pharmacy Data Analyst works collaboratively with all internal departments and with the Company’s FQHC partners to support the vision, mission, and strategy of the organization.
The Analyst must be able to analyze and draw accurate conclusions from pharmacy claims and other forms of data; and complete tasks and larger projects as assigned. The Analyst must also have a customer-service mentality, recognizing the importance of both internal and external customers. The Pharmacy Data Analyst will report directly to the Director, Pharmacy Business Management of C3/CPC.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to query and work with large data sets
- Assist in processes related to data extracting, validation, preparation, and reporting
- Assist with the development and management of end user reporting tools and report distribution
- Assist in the management of the organization’s analytics and reporting process
- Triage, document, and respond to health center and other stakeholder requests for information on potential pharmacy opportunity
- Develops informational platforms and reports from core data sets for reporting in: Pharmacy Operations, Clinical Programs and Services, and Financial Performance
- 340B information platform development with guidance and direction for program optimization of covered entity members of C3/CPC
- Creation of CPC level performance dashboards for successful program oversight of CPC initiatives and services for Community Health members
- Support all other pharmacy data analytics, or CPC-related reporting needs and requirements
- Perform all related duties to pharmacy analytics as assigned or required
Required Skills:
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, Outlook)
- Business Intelligence Dashboard Building Software: MS PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or equivalent
- Experience querying and manipulating large data sets using computational tools; some SQL or similar language required; experience in other tools like SAS, R, or Python is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced understanding of analytical principles, methodologies, and models
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to have strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management
- Works well with others, understanding different perspectives and finding collaborative ways to complete the task as required
- Comfortable multi-tasking
- Performs with great integrity and produces accurate work with close attention to detail, especially in the completion of final deliverables to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to build new capabilities in a growing organization
Desired Other Skills:
- Familiarity/expertise in using pharmaceutical data sets such as prescriber-plan data, patient level data, transactional claims and diagnostic data preferred
- In-depth knowledge of the Pharmacy and Health Care Industry preferred
- Familiarity with the MassHealth ACO program
- Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers
- Experience with working on healthcare inequity & social justices with at risk patient and underserved populations is preferred
Experience with anti-racism activities, and/or lived experience with racism is highly preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or equivalent field preferred
- Two or more years’ experience in Business Analytics with hands-on reporting & data analyst functional experience or certification in Business Analytics or like programs is preferred
