Job Description
Operations Technician I
Location: Broomfield, CO--hybrid schedule
Duration: 6 months with penitential to convert
Description:
The TCAM role is a Tier II/III technician responsible for fault detection, replication, isolation, and restoration of customer services across the Level 3 backbone and soft switch, egress/termination carrier networks, customer CPE, and unified messaging resources.
Scope of Work:
- Working trouble tickets daily.
- The tickets are for Call completion issues.
- Tech would pull Call Detail records and update the routing when needed and test to make sure calls are working.
- Work through tickets that you have worked and assigned from the previous day, pick up new tickets and find fault and work toward resolution.
- Follow up on any other tickets that may need follow up to move toward resolution.
Technical Environment:
- Will be taught the basics of trouble shooting and telecom verbiage and what to look for when pulling call information.
Work Environment/team culture:
- Fast paced environment with plenty of follow up to confirm resolution.
- Hybrid working environment.
- Will be speaking directly with customers on the phone and thru the ticket notes when possible.
- Potential OT, and weekend shifts. This if for overnight shift from 8pm-6am
Minimum Qualifications:
- Quick to learn,
- move through tacks quickly to get to next issue,
- ability to speak with the customers effectively.
- Computer skills and some knowledge of telcom is a plus but we will train
- 1-2 Year of Experience
