Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Hygienist to join our team. As an Industrial Hygienist, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of employees in the workplace. You will develop and implement strategies to identify, evaluate, and control occupational hazards. Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive assessments of workplace environments to identify potential health hazards - Develop and implement effective control measures to minimize employee exposure to hazardous substances and conditions - Provide training and education to employees on occupational health and safety practices - Collaborate with management to develop policies and procedures that comply with EHS regulations - Conduct investigations into workplace accidents or incidents, including root cause analysis - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of control measures through regular inspections and audits - Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in industrial hygiene - Prepare reports documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions Skills: - Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards - Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures - Experience in training development related to industrial hygiene practices - Familiarity with workers compensation laws and processes - Ability to perform root cause analysis for workplace incidents - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - CPR certification is preferred Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Hygienist or similar role - Knowledge of fabricating methods for personal protective equipment (PPE) - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills We offer competitive compensation packages including benefits such as medical insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
