What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Estimator position at CABINET?
We are a leading manufacturer of Institutional Casework and Architectural Woodwork in the Southern California area. We are seeking an individual who can assist us in bidding future jobs and bringing in new work.
This position will entail:
· Accurately estimating casework and millwork jobs from plans and specifications
· Determining buyout items and obtaining pricing
· Job walks or general contractor office visits
· Writing bid proposals and other paperwork associated with bids.
· Working closely with drafters and project managers after a job has been sold.
Qualifications:
· Experience actively bidding institutional casework, laboratory casework and millwork
· Knowledge of Woodwork Institute (WI) Standards
· Knowledge of Architectural Casework and Millwork Standards
· Ability to work quickly and accurately
· Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year
