Position Overview

As the Sales Manager at CabinetCorp, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth in the cabinet and construction sectors. You will lead a team of sales professionals, manage key accounts, and leverage your proven track record in the cabinet or construction industry to achieve ambitious sales targets. Your leadership, strategic thinking, and industry expertise will be critical to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and achieve sales targets in the cabinet and construction industries.
  • Lead and Mentor Sales Team: Manage, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives to reach their individual and team sales goals. Provide coaching, support, and performance evaluations to ensure team success.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and industry partners. Understand their needs, offer tailored solutions, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Manage Key Accounts: Oversee major accounts, handling negotiations, contract management, and project coordination to ensure successful outcomes and long-term client relationships.
  • Drive New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events. Develop new client relationships and secure new accounts.
  • Monitor Sales Performance: Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and report on progress toward targets. Use insights to adjust strategies and improve sales processes.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with design, production, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on client projects, resolve issues, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of trends in the cabinet and construction industries, including new products, technologies, and market developments, to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare Sales Reports: Develop and present regular sales reports to senior management, including forecasts, performance reviews, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Proven Sales Experience: A demonstrated track record of success in sales management within the cabinet or construction industry, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the cabinet or construction industry, including products, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team, with experience in setting goals, managing performance, and driving team success.
  • Exceptional Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate contracts, and present ideas effectively.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Results-driven: A strong focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth through effective sales techniques and client management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred): A degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with CRM Systems: Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales tools is a plus.
