SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Associate is essential in managing customer relationships and driving sales, with a significant focus on effective communication. This role involves guiding customers through purchasing, communicating project specifics, and changing orders to Estimators, ensuring smooth coordination and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Relationship Management and Sales (90%)
- Actively engage with customers to understand their needs, providing expert product recommendations and guidance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers who share the company's values.
- Guide customers through the purchasing process, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Efficiently handle post-purchase interactions, such as concerns, exchanges, returns, and warranty claims.
- Effectively communicate project specifics and change orders to Estimators, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
- Collaborate closely with Project Estimators to facilitate seamless customer experiences and maintain consistent communication throughout the customer journey.
Training & Development (10%)
- Assist in training new hires in the Project Support Team.
- Continuously apply and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for customer interactions and sales processes.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques to align with evolving customer profiles and needs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 Years of Experience - Can operate and manage processes and work independently
- Associate’s Degree preferred; will consider those with some Associate Degree completion and transferable skills/experience
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Ability to solve for customer satisfaction within cable bullet guidelines for customer service
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to deal tactfully with various personalities
- Ability to work under pressure with interruptions

- Strong phone and email communication skills
