What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Cybersecurity Manager position at CACI?
CACI is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to fill the role of Deputy Cybersecurity Manager on a contract supporting the Department of the Army.
The Senior ISSO shall provide support to the Cybersecurity Manager in managing day-to-day tasks to ensure customer systems maintain their Authority to Operate (ATO) with a security posture in accordance with Army and NIST SP guidance.
About the Role:
Serve as the IPPS-A Deputy Cybersecurity Manager. Responsibilities include:
- Manage the day-to-day tasks as defined by the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other tasks as assigned by the Cybersecurity Manager
- Support cybersecurity tasks as assigned by the Organizational Information Systems Security Manager (O-ISSM)
- Provide input to all reports and required deliverables, attend client and staff meetings in the absence of Security Manager
- Use eMASS for security information to include POA&Ms, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and documentation
- Utilize knowledge of DoDI 8570.01 requirements and use of ATCTS to manage program privileged users, to include performance of quarterly privileged user audits
- Track system vulnerabilities using the DISA Enterprise Security Posture System (ESPS)
- Train junior team members in current cybersecurity policies and procedures
- Provide oversight of team members performance of assigned tasks during the design, test, implementation, and maintenance of client systems to ensure DoD, Army, and program cyber requirements are met.
- Coordinate all cybersecurity efforts across other program teams to include PMO Cyber, Infrastructure, Application Security, Build and Sustainment.
- Ensure Plan of Action & Milestone (POA&M) reports are maintained and that security vulnerabilities are tracked and remediated
- Investigate security incidents to determine extent of compromise to client systems and data, including Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data
- Utilize previous experience in providing support during the preparation and execution of external audit of client systems
- Research and maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer and network vulnerabilities, data hiding and network and device security and encryption
Required Qualifications:
- Current Secret DOD security clearance
- CISSP, CEH certification
- Previous experience providing cybersecurity support to the Army and the IPPS-A program
- MS in Cybersecurity or similar field and 5 years of applicable experience
- Knowledge of information security best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years previous experience using eMASS and ATCTS tools
- Experience in the use of Splunk and Audit Vault for security monitoring.
- Experience in implementing and managing user access processes to include 2875s, Privileged Access Agreements, and Tools and Access Request forms
