What are the responsibilities and job description for the .Net Developer position at CACI?
What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI has an immediate opening for a .NET developer to be part of the Accounting and Finance team.
- Produce detailed specifications and write software code utilizing .NET/C#
- Develop front end as well as back-end console applications.
- Develop complex batch jobs to move data between back-office systems.
- Conduct impact analysis for software changes.
- Work closely with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements.
- Conduct unit tests and document findings.
- Support formal testing in controlled environment before code is promoted to production.
- Adhere to program configuration change control standards.
More About the Role:
- Responsible for researching, designing, developing and/or modifying software systems (e.g., custom, COTS, GOTS).
- Work with a team of developers in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Present ideas for system improvements.
- Develop LOE estimates for software developments or enhancements.
- Provide input into training manuals for users.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of back-office systems, including technical changes in the application(s).
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in both front-end web development as well as back-end console application development using .NET/C#.
- Must be proficient in Oracle or SQL Server database design and SQL.
- Ability to learn new functional areas quickly.
- Ability to debug / trace code and resolve issues quickly.
- Experience building and using Web Service APIs.
- Technical knowledge of .NET programming typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2-3 years of related work experience.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experience developing in an Agile environment.
- Experience with Git and CI pipelines.
- Experience using Microsoft DevOps 2022
- Experience with back-office systems (i.e., Accounting, Contracts, HR, etc.) for a Government Contractor.
- Experience with Angular (preferred), or similar technologies.
