What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrum Master position at CACI?
CACI is seeking a Scrum Master to join the F3I program. As a Scrum Master for 1-5 Scrum Teams on the Department of the Air Force Cloudworks (DAF Cloudworks) program, you will be working closely with engineers, team leads, other Scrum Masters, to build enterprise solutions that meet mission needs. You will be a key member of the team, doing work that matters for some of the Air Force’s most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in cloud computing and DevSecOps.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Serve as Scrum Master for 1-5 Scrum Teams that share common core functions and objectives within the DAF Cloudworks mission.
- Guide your Scrum Teams on Agile/Scrum practices and ensure your teams follow the established Agile development process.
- Coordinate and facilitate Agile “ceremonies” (events) for your Scrum Teams, to include daily scrums, backlog refinement meetings, sprint planning and reviews/demos, PI planning and reviews/demos, and retrospective events.
- Lead and manage your Scrum Teams to deliver successful product increments.
- Assist the Government Product Owners, fellow Scrum Masters, and Scrum Teams in meeting mission objectives by helping prioritize work, facilitating cross-team collaboration and decision making, resolving conflicts, and removing impediments.
- Help your Scrum Team resolve issues and conflicts that arise during development/support and identify areas of improvement.
- Actively communicate within and among Scrum Teams, as well as with end users, Govt Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure mission objectives are met.
- Work with your Scrum Teams to generate and present status reports, briefings, presentations, and slideshow or video demos.
- Utilize Agile tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence and Microsoft tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to manage and document the work.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Active Secret security clearance.
- College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 3 years’ experience with the Agile framework and various Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
- Scrum Master certification (level 1 or higher) with experience leading Scrum teams.
- Experience with public speaking and meeting facilitation in virtual environments and technical audiences.
- Technical experience in software development and/or systems integration & support.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC), including planning, development, requirements management, configuration management, quality assurance, and release management.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
