Job Description
Team CACI has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for a ServiceNow Analyst supporting a DHS customer’s wide-area (WAN), local-area (LAN) and campus-area (CAN) networks across multiple security domains. The contractor is responsible for generating and managing the overall network activity reporting. Working closely with the USCIS Networking Engineer, Networking Operations and Architect team. This role necessarily deals with highly confidential and sensitive information, and the role is expected to confirm to best handling practices and providing Network Infrastructure Reporting when requested.
What You’ll Get to Do:
SME who will manage the entire Networks Reporting activities for a large project with limited oversight from manager. The Sr. Network Activity Reporting Analyst coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level team members. Solving difficult and complex problems. Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures.
More About the Role:
- Work with both corporate and customer leadership to research, analyze, and implement enterprise-wide network security solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives.
- Perform technical data analysis to monitor and measure operations and program performance of a large-scale benefits case management system.
- Support creation of contract deliverables and reports that are needed for the customer.
- Support operations-related data analytics to find opportunities of improvement within the operations of the organization/program.
- Preparing concise, comprehensive, and level-appropriate reports and presentations in a visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, and ServiceNow).
- Building automated visual reports and dashboards which provide insights by looking at trends over time or anomalies by geography or by channel.
- Developing simple and easy to use interfaces to make data appropriate to a variety of user groups.
- Leveraging data visualization tool sets to provide single source data availability to multiple user communities.
- Continuing to identify opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and methodology.
- Developing new insights while automating or transitioning old production reports to other team members
- Create Reports using security and network appliances for the following
- Incident Tickets, Change Requests, Traffic Volume to Data Center and Internet, Websites visited Intranet/Internet.
- Number of Security POAMs completed/total, Security questionnaires, Firewall rules implemented, Messages being logged, ISRs assigned /worked.
- Number of hours - Firewall team on support calls, Performance team on support calls,
- Number of hours configuring /installing software or hardware
- Supporting routine day to day analysis for applications.
- Evaluate data sets to determine trends and anomalies.
- Ability to problem solve and think creatively
- Experience handling highly confidential and sensitive information and reports
- Closely collaborating with cross-functional teams for contract deliverables.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required
- An active Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment.
- Experience in creating reports using security and network appliances with primary administration tools (i.e. Cisco CSM, Splunk, Prime, Solar Winds, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Salesforce, and ServiceNow)
- Experience and familiarity with network products and services
- Experience with configuring reports for networking, infrastructure, server, application and development technologies
- Domain expertise with gathering reports from IT operations, cloud, security, compliance, and engineering is desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team Player – This role is part of a much larger team
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Relevant DHS focused experience
- University degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of related work experience.
- Experience on tools Jira, Salesforce, and Service Now is a plus.
