Cactus Varied Industries is actively seeking a Machinist to join our team in Amarillo, Texas! The Machinist will be responsible for daily production utilizing a CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Mechanical Lathe, Drill Press, Shear, Etc.

Job Description
Cactus Varied Industries is actively seeking a Machinist to join our team in Amarillo, Texas! The Machinist will be responsible for daily production utilizing a CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Mechanical Lathe, Drill Press, Shear, Etc.
Job Responsibilities
- Produce a variety of machined, precision parts for millwright projects and concrete mixer truck parts down to .005” tolerances.
- Utilize machinist equipment such as utilizing a CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Mechanical Lathe, Drill Press, and Shear to support CVI projects
- Ability to read and understand detailed CAD drawings.
- A productive performer who is capable of handling, at times, a heavy workload.
- Communicate with management and all parties involved in daily production of CVI projects
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the operation of CNC equipment, including CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Drill Press, Shear, etc. More experience is a plus.
- High school or GED completion is required. Completion of Technical or Trade School is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills.
