Role
Cadre is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager (Email) who understands how to leverage email as a driver of growth and retention, and can also deliver the best customer experience for our investor community. As a key member of our Marketing team, you’ll work with a variety of stakeholders and agency partners to power emails that make an impact across each stage of the funnel. Your primary goal will be to strategically drive email marketing campaigns that educate, inform, and inspire prospects about Cadre’s mission and products, and own lead/investor engagement strategies to drive direct response. Your work will be critical in nurturing our leads, supporting the sales effort, educating our prospects and investors, and retaining and growing our investor base.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, deliver, and scale optimized nurture programs to drive investment and increase engagement at all stages of customer journey
- Develop a holistic company email strategy and oversee email calendar that includes multi-touch nurture streams, product announcements, content newsletters, and more
- Work with Sales, Business Operations & Growth, and Product teams to define moments of email activation from lead capture to in-product experience and recommend 1:1 and 1:many experiences that drive investor engagement and conversion
- Provide clear, consistent, and frequent communication with stakeholders to outline strategy, tactics, goals, and performance of campaigns
- Collaborate with Sales to align on product positioning and messaging, define Sales and Marketing communications touchpoints, and implement integrated campaigns
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence to set up email automation flows, audience segmentation, and manage external agency for campaign execution
- Build and optimize best-in-class email templates in Hubspot for all email types to improve performance and increase efficiency
- Plan and execute roadmap for email testing
- Regularly monitor and proactively report on performance, drive decision making to optimize campaigns, and prioritize analytics requirements to internal and external partners
- Partner with Business Intelligence to improve data quality, reporting, and segmentation, as well as develop personalized marketing strategies using first party data
What You Have:
- 6 years of experience in email marketing and marketing automation management in medium-sized organizations
- Experience using Hubspot email marketing platform
- Extensive knowledge of customer journeys, lifecycle campaigns, and segmented communication strategies and aligning them to the business funnel
- Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively manage various stakeholders to gain consensus and drive deliverables, even in the face of ambiguity
- Proven track record of working at the strategic and tactical level to develop and execute effective campaigns (player-coach)
- In-depth knowledge of email best practices serve as our in-house channel expert
- Experience writing creative briefs and leading email creative development
- Ability to orchestrate content creation with a consistent tone of voice
- Strong analytical skills of using data to translate results into recommendations
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with superior attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize the most important email initiatives for teams
- Self-starter mentality that thrives in high-energy and fast-moving startup environment
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS. Experience coding emails and email templates is a plus
- Experience in the tech, and especially finance or other highly-regulated industries is preferred
