About this Role

 

We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated Content Strategist to join our Marketing team and lead CADY’s content and brand strategy across all consumer communication platforms. The successful candidate will be a gifted storyteller who can deliver clear and relevant messaging at the right time and at the right touchpoint in a user’s journey. You will need to have a deep understanding of what our audience needs and then be able to speak to that audience in a relevant and authentic way. You will also work closely with cross functional team members to make your strategies come to life!

 

 

 

What will you do as our Content Strategist?

 

 

  • Use storytelling and positioning to craft and execute content strategies to drive education, engagement, and product adoption.

  • Hands on content development including writing, editing, and executing various forms of content across both our traditional and digital platforms.

  • Evolve current brand direction and set clear guidelines for voice, tone and messaging. 

  • Create content strategy for our consumer audiences including Seniors, Underclass, Cap & Gown, & Graduation.

  • Create, and oversee content for product launch campaigns across all touchpoints including traditional media, email, social media and website platforms.

  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure content is aligned to marketing and business strategies and relevant for our customers across their buying journeys.

  • Provide guidance to internal content contributors and external content writers to deliver content on message and on time.

  • Create and maintain editorial calendars, style guides, taxonomies, and content migration plans.

  • Provide guidance on which channels to use for content delivery and measure customer engagement to assess the effectiveness of the content strategy.

 

 

 

Your Responsibilities

 

 

  • Create flow charts for user journeys and content wireframes to visually demonstrate your vision for designers, production members and development teams.

  • Create clear copy standards and documentation to share with team members and assist with the distribution process and governance.

  • Review analytics data and meet regularly with the customer service team to understand customer needs and current pain points, and adjust content when needed.

  • Strategize with the Marketing team to craft compelling content and messaging to ensure Average Order and Sell Through Rate goals can be met.

  • Collaborate with the UX and UI Design team to identify best practices for displaying content on our web platforms.

  • Develop, create and manage editorial calendar. 

  • Ensure messaging is consistent across platforms and campaigns.

  • Keep styleguide up to date and ensure best practices, consistent language and tone of voice across all content.

 

 

 

Can you Check these Boxes?

 

● Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field.

 

● 3 years of experience as a content strategist, content writer or content designer.

 

● Strong communication, strategic thinking and storytelling skills.

 

● Understanding of Figma or wireframing software a plus
● Prepared portfolio of work that demonstrates your strategy and writing abilities.

 

● Interpret client needs with creative solutions.

 

● Willing and able to commute to our CADY Innovation Center in Alpharetta, GA (hybrid - 4 days in the office).
