Summary

We are looking for a Billing Analyst to undertake billing operations in our accounting department. We'll count on the analyst to issue invoices with a high degree of accuracy to guarantee that they are paid in a timely manner. The Billing Analyst should have a keen eye for detail and should also be comfortable working with little supervision to meet tight deadlines. In addition, the Billing Analyst will work with program finance and contracts to close out programs.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience

• Strong computer skills.
• Particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Proven problem-solving skill, demonstrating analysis and decision-making competence.
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating analysis and decision-making competence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Costpoint.
• Experience submitting invoices in WAWF, Exostar, and other payment systems.
• Experience reconciling billings and payments to funding for closeout.
• Experience working with DFAS and DCMA to ensure timely and proper payments.

Security Responsibilities

Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

• Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Work Environment

This job is a remote position that will require the employee to participate in emails remotely.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Salary Range: $77,000 to $85,500

The actual compensation rate is subject to the evaluation of the following factors (but not limited to): the candidate's work experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and market.
