PEOPLE MANAGER - Supervises the correct execution/maximization of all training activities according to regulations and the company. Supervises progress of clients in training and provides recommendation for any necessary remedial training action for a pilot not meeting the standard training progress and performance levels. Interfaces with Sales/Customer Services/Scheduling to ensure customer satisfaction (conflicts, policies, procedures, scheduling problems, etc.). Conducts flight/sim instruction or examination, as necessary.
Manager in this position typically reports to a director and typically manages professional individual contributors. Is effectively leading a specific department or a discipline within a department and is accountable for its results. Manager at this level is receiving assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manages all assigned instructors
* Manages assigned program to insure maximum client throughput and revenue capture
* Manages the training qualifications and currency of all assigned instructors to insure maximum instructor availability and currency
* Develops and delivers performance reviews for assigned personnel
* Develops staffing recommendations
* Ensures training record and DPE paperwork issues are managed and processed in a timely and accurate manner
* Ensures maximum utilization of fulltime instructors while managing the use of part-time instructors
* Directly interfaces with program scheduler to insure the balanced and effective scheduling of instructors to fulfill client requirements
* Conducts simulator and classroom QA's and 135.293/297 check rides of assigned instructors
* Coordinates with Sales and Client Services to resolve issues and/or conflicts
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Results oriented with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
* Extensive aeronautical experience to include certification as a CAE SimuFlite TCE/PE and in-depth knowledge of the SimuFlite CFR 142 Training Program.
* Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with clients, management, and peers
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Proficient in MS/Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Familiar with JAA regulations, operations, and requirements
* Working knowledge of STARS
