Overview
Work primarily in a CNC Machining Cell performing set-up and production functions to meet department scheduling requirements. Ideal candidate is dependable, organized, has good interpersonal skills and is a true team-player. Candidate should have an extremely positive and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
• Machine product to meet weekly Dispatch Schedule priorities
• Perform set-ups to respective Set-Up Sheet and Process Spec instructions
• Ability to proof read CNC Program file
• Ability to edit G-code program file.
• Ability to self-inspect machined product to blueprint
• Responsible for preventative maintenance for CNC equipment
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with little or no supervision
• Time management as well as any last minute job requirements to meet customer needs
• Maintain and control lean environment and workplace organization
• Other duties as required
• Must have 10 Years of setup and running CNC lathes
Qualifications
Minimum:
- High School Diploma or Accredited GED
- 2 years technical school or equivalent experience
- 10 years in a CNC machining enviornment
