Overview
Join a dynamic team and play a major role in managing contracts of all types. This position offers a motivated individual the chance to work side by side with the Program Manager. The Contracts Administrator will be able to work independently as well as support the multi-functional team. This person will be responsible for all phases of the contract, from proposal to contract closeout.
Responsibilities
- Record changes to purchase orders and route to appropriate staff; distribute advance sales orders as well as input data into the enterprise wide system, SAP
- Prepare customer correspondence as needed in order to respond to customer inquiries and Purchase Order acknowledgement
- Maintain logs of customer orders that require follow-up in regards to terms and conditions or other issues
- Prepare and maintain contract briefs
- Review bids and proposals to ensure they meet company policy and the RFQ requirements
- Prepare and present analyses of completed bid/proposal packages
- Provide business partnering to the Business Area on contractual matters
- Monitor programs and proactively identify and resolve problems related to contract changes
- Participates in and may lead special projects or improvement initiatives
- Performs other duties and responsibilities related to contracting, as required
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Two (2 ) years as a contracts administrator.
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and documentation databases
Salary Range: $62,000 - $75,000 annually.
Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
