Qualifications:JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to theTable Games Shift Managers, the Table Games Assistant Shift Manager will assistin leading the floor install for the grand opening as well as the ongoingoperation of table games at Horseshoe Baltimore.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :
· Responsible forsupporting the Table Games Shift Manager in all departmental initiativesrelated to the casino grand opening including hiring, training, andprocess/procedure development.
· Responsible forassisting in leading the Table Games operation post opening.
· Responsible fordaily function and operation of assigned area of the casino floor.
· Maintains workingknowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws (federal, state, and local)and attendant regulations as well as company internal controls.
· Manages alloperations and personnel on assigned shift.
· Coaches directreports in pertinent skills of operations, marketing, and administration andpromotes effective utilization of equipment, manpower and floor space.
· Effectively executesstrategies in support of business objectives. Sets high personal standards for performance and encourages others to dothe same.
· Continuallyfollows up and evaluates the status of daily work and strategic projects.
· Authorizes guestcomplimentaries to recognize loyal players in accordance with companyguidelines.
· Ensures allguests problems are handled quickly to ensure guest satisfaction within theestablished guidelines.
· Identifies andanticipates problems through logical and analytical thought processes.
· Ensures theproper issuance of casino credit, front money and chip advances
· Develops newgaming guests through personal contact with Player Development, Marketing andthe
· Total RewardsCenter.
· Monitors wage andsalary costs to maintain proper margins in relation to business volume.
· Plans andapproves employee scheduling to assure proper staffing to meet businessdemands.
· Establishes andmaintains departmental procedures that will assure proper protection of allgaming operations from loss due to mistake or theft.
· Informs Shift Managerand Surveillance team of unnatural or irregular play.
· Proactivelyrecognizes rewards and celebrates outstanding examples of employeeperformance.
· Counsels, guidesand instructs assigned personnel in the performance of their duties.
· Any and all other job duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent from atwo-year college or technical school) or 10 years equivalenttraining/experience preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years table games experiencewith progressive supervisory/management experience required.
