JOB SUMMARY: The responsibility of the Busser is to provide superior guest service and create a high-quality dining experience for all customers by assisting the server in several functions before, during and after each guest dining experience. These functions include greeting, bussing, drink serving and replenishment and clearing tables in a timely manner.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
*Bussers will greet all customers within their assigned section with a professional and timely greeting and introduce their server.
*Busser will speak, read and be able to communicate proficiently in English.
*Busser will serve drinks to all customers in their section in the prescribed time and manner.
*Busser will check for satisfaction within the required time frame of delivering the customer’s order. *Busser will keep guests water replenished as needed and assist the server in other functions relating to the overall satisfaction of the customers dining experience.
*Busser will clear and re-set all tables within their section in a timely manner in order to accommodate guests for the next seating. Tables should not sit dirty longer than 5 minutes.
*Busser will be upbeat, positive, and professional at all times.
*Busser will be a Team player and work well with all co-workers.
*Busser will be expected to work when scheduled, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Health Card
PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS: Lift up to 30 lbs. Push and pull up to 200 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and hear. Dexterity to utilize tools. Walk entire shift. Stand for long periods of time or entire shift. Walk up and down stairs. Work in hot temperatures. Work in cold temperatures. Work in Secondhand smoke environment. Maneuver in confined spaces. Tolerate high noise areas. Will have guest contact. Work flexible schedules. Understand, read, write, and speak English.
