ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- General:
- Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers. Supervises programs and processes to reduce loss time injuries.
- Monitor, casino games, bank, cage, slots, softcount rooms and property overall.
- Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
- Development and training of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluates.
- Review departmental needs for input to the budget and effective management.
- Review surveillance activities with the Director of Surveillance.
- Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member and customer information.
- Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts and work locations may change.
- Assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
- Operating Principles: Ensure at all times operating principles are being adhered to: Clean – Keep all areas clean and pristine; Safe – Follow all safety policies and procedures; Friendly – Use customer courtesy skills of Family Style Service to provide superior guest service; Fun – Be interactive with all internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.
- Tools and Technology: Computer station with email, Oracle, Microsoft office software, Dallmeier digital system, casino tracking programs (CMS, Micros, Datastream, Kronos, Stratton Warren, SDS), surveillance/security computer database, two-way radio, telephone with voice mail system, fax, and copier.
- Licensure: Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 Slot Combo License. Must be at least 21 years of age. Three (3) years of tax returns required. Must possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: Two to five years experience in security or surveillance of a high volume business or industry with a 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience. Gaming industry experience is required.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Knowledge of all gaming regulations and internal controls for all casino departments, promotions, games, and events. Knowledge of surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras and monitors, alarm systems, and listening devices. Knowledge of casino games and internal controls. Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations.
- Skills: Ability to write clear and concise reports using correct grammar and punctuation. Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, ask questions as appropriate, and not interrupt at inappropriate times. Talking to others to convey information effectively. Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do. May occasionally be in an outdoor environment, exposed to varied weather conditions.
Salary : $42,800 - $54,200
