This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Technician at Cafe Spice. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day equipment maintenance, troubleshooting issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and handling repairs. You will be an integral part of ensuring that our equipment and facilities are always in optimal condition to support our culinary operations.
Essential Duties:
· Performs a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment.
· Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; repairs or replaces broken parts.
· Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures
· Repairs electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switches; repairs refrigeration equipment.
· Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
· May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed
· Documents and reports all maintenance repairs
· Repairs any potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
· Adheres to all Safety and Quality regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related field; Skills in Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting; Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair; Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance procedures; Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment; Strong problem-solving and attention to detail; Excellent communication and teamwork skills; Prior experience in the food industry is a plus.
