Description :
As a Provider Relations Advocate, you will be expected to coordinate and document provider inquiries and provide prompt and courteous service to requests for assistance for all providers via face-to-face, telephone calls, faxes, and emails.
Assist in supporting the network strategies and network initiatives via calls or in-person outreach. The successful individual must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with others;
internal as well as external contacts and resources in order to achieve desired results and resolution of issues.
Responsibilities :
- Resolves provider issues by researching causes and working with various health plans and internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain provider relationships with practices through active outreach
- Assist in designing and implement programs that nurture positive relationship between IPA / Provider / Healthplan
- Identify gaps in network composition and services and help support strategies for network initiatives, including network expansion, recruitment, and contracting supports.
- Leading and reporting on monthly meetings.
- Responds to provider that is seeking assistance.
- Works with providers, health plans, and internal departments.
- Builds collaborative relationships with multiple health plan representatives and providers.
- Staying updated and providing education to providers on various health plan policies.
- Assisting and completing various projects on time.
- Other duties and projects as assigned in line with department and company needs.

Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from representatives, providers, and the general public.
- Proven analytical skills
- Excellent multi-tasking, prioritizing, and time management skills.
- Knowledge and experience with Adobe, and Microsoft Office products.
- Bachelor's Degree; or two years related experience and / or training.
- Willing to travel 70% of the time in the field working hands on with providers
