SUMMARY

Performs the following duties personally and coordinates with team members to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Key Results Areas [KRAs].

 

KRA #1: Provide customers with exceptional service

This key result area will be satisfactorily achieved when: customers are loyal to CCI

  • Always do what you say you will do
  • Utilize CCI resources to fullest potential
  • Exceed customers’ expectations
  • Encourage SM team to do the same


KRA #2: Increase sales by building and maintaining customer relationships

This key result area will be satisfactorily achieved when: gross revenues are increased year over year

  • Be available, courteous, and on time
  • Maintain open channels for communication
  • Never fail to follow up
  • Maintain market awareness
  • Listen to customers’ needs- our very best red is no good if the customer needs blue

 

KRA #3: Increase customer base

This key result area will be satisfactorily achieved when: customer list is larger

  • Seek out and meet customers we haven’t done business with yet
  • Visit outer areas of territory
  • Call or visit our entire customer list

QUALIFICTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

A.A. Degree from two-year college in sales or business administration preferred; and over five years up to and including seven years of related industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS EXPERIENCE

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS EXPERIENCE

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite -  Outlook Communication Management software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; and experience with Internet usage, PC and/or MAC and Windows. Experience developing a CMS desirable.

 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES and REGISTRATIONS

Valid State Driver’s License. Position requires 5% travel. This is a working sales position; out-of-the-area and overnight travel on occasion.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and frequently required to stand, walk and sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and taste.


The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes/airborne particles; and regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet office conditions or quiet, inside car-cabin conditions.
