What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cannabis Production Lead position at Cali Distribution?
The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing the processing, packaging, and labeling of all products produced at the facility. This includes ensuring that the required number of units are created within quality, scheduled parameters, and assisting with the management of staff and packaging agents.
Responsibilities:
- Directing staff to ensure schedules are met, changeover times are minimized, shifts are synchronized, production is optimized, and documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintaining production recording and data entry accuracy, and scheduling targets and run times.
- Flower packaging
- Pre-roll packaging
- Bagging and boxing product for wholesale sales and shipping.
- Displaying strong staff leadership qualities.
- Working closely with the Q/A team as needed to ensure production meets standards.
- Keep management informed of production status
- Maintaining optimum levels of packaging inventory, according to plan, avoiding excesses and/or shortages
- Ensuring good communication between all the departments involved in the Production Process, regarding customer demand changes, and other related information that might affect operations.
- Communicating with management in regards to delivery, order status, inventory status.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
