California Cartwheel Center is a non-competitive gymnastics facility that teaches to all levels in a fun and safe environment. We are a small family run business that has been open since 1982.
California Cartwheel Center is currently looking to hire a fun, enthusiastic gymnastics instructor to teach afternoon and evening classes. You do not need coaching experience but having some knowledge of the sport or working with kids is a bonus! This position requires having a positive and upbeat attitude and the willingness to learn the basic fundamentals and safety of the sport.
What you will be doing:
- Teaching gymnastics to kids ages 3yrs - 12yrs
- Helping kids learn the basic fundamentals of the sport in a safe and fun environment
- Spotting
- Lifting and moving mats around
- *You will be fully trained
- *This position is not suited for anyone with back problems or injuries
Hours you will be working:
- Mondays: 3:00pm - 7:20pm
- Tuesdays: 3:20pm - 8:00pm
- Thursdays: 3:30pm - 6:10pm
- Saturdays: 9:20am - 12:20pm *Morning classes*
- Additional, optional hours are fun, youth events hosted throughout the month
Hourly rate: $14.50 with potential to grow
