What are the responsibilities and job description for the Edible Schoolyard Garden Lead position at California Department of Education?

Under general supervision of the School Site Principal, leads the Edible Schoolyard Program (ESY) including teaching garden classes, maintaining a year-round productive and educational organic garden and kitchen, and doing related work as required. Training and Experience: Associate's degree preferred. Educational background in agriculture, horticulture, education, or related fields preferred. Job-related experience with a general understanding of garden principles is required. Experience in gardening work, or any combination of training and experience that could provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Possession of a valid California Driver's License and & Evidence of Insurability. Ability to pass required District physical.
