Basic Function:
Reporting to theTalent Acquisition & HR Operations Manager, perform varied and complex clerical and technical functions in support of the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. The position is primarily responsible for providing technical support and maintenance of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to include applicant tracking, positions, onboarding, employee data, compensation, benefits and other HR/Payroll functions to ensure data integrity and accurate processing and reporting of HR data. The position is also responsible for general human resources administration; maintaining human resources records, files and databases; and ensuring that personnel functions conform to all applicable regulatory requirements.

Representative Duties:
Provides technical support and maintenance of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including the applicant tracking system and the human resources database management system to ensure data integrity and accurate processing and reporting of HR data; perform data integrity audits; establishes and maintains all positions within the system; troubleshoots and resolves HRIS issues; generates reports; serves as a technical liaison between information technology, human resources, payroll and software vendors. Maintains, updates and ensures data integrity and accurate processing and reporting of HR and Payroll data in Colleague and eMAP promptly; performs data integrity audits. E
Provides data entry support for employee personnel actions and supporting documents. E
Coordinates communications with other employees, departments, administrators, applicants, and the public for the purpose of providing information and assistance concerning employment, procedures, personnel records, and related legal requirements. E
Administers and coordinates a wide variety of Human Resources policies and programs for the purpose of conforming to relevant policies, procedures, and laws. E
Develops and maintains a variety of records, logs, files and databases; maintains strict confidentiality of personnel information and works with discretion. E
Responds to written and verbal inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information and/or referring to appropriate personnel and/or identifying the relevant issues, and recommending or implementing a remediation plan. E
Streamlines and maintains the Universitys Org-charts; works with divisions to make sure the org-charts are up to date and accurate.
Researches, compiles and prepares information to prepare reports and to ensure accuracy and completeness of information. E
Attends and participates in meetings; serves as a departmental representative for meetings and events.
Assists in special projects; coordinates and monitors progress of various departmental projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Coordinate the maintenance of a variety of records and files.
Assemble, organize and prepare data for records and reports.
Develop detailed and complex tracking mechanisms using Microsoft Office.
Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state laws related to employment and human resources.
Operate a computer and assigned office equipment, including the use of software programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Any combination equivalent to: bachelors degree in business administration, human resources, or related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible human resources experience including maintaining a fully integrated Human Resources Information System

Preferred Qualifications:
Human resources experience in a higher education setting.
Experience with Ellucian Colleague.
Experience with electronic applicant tracking systems
