Job Overview

Under the lead direction of the Director of Safety, Health & Sustainability, the SH&S Coordinator serves as the department office manager and provides administrative support and operational coordination for the Office of Safety, Health & Sustainability. The incumbent will also provide support to the leadership of the Administration subdivision in FAS. This position carries significant autonomy and lead responsibility for a wide range of department operations. Primary areas of responsibility include providing customer service (in person and by phone/email), department coordination, supervising and serving as administrative lead for the student assistants, procuring materials, purchase orders, employee transactions and pro- card reconciliations, and providing administrative support. The incumbent must be able to interact with staff, administrators, internal and external constituents while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial in this position.

Position Summary

Safety, Health & Sustainability Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator I)

This is a full time, non-exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $3,681 - $3,938 per month

CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,680 - $5,783 per month
