Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing amazing creations from scratch following our recipes to produce consistent results
- Multitasking with focus and skill
- Knowing and complying consistently with standard cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen practices
- Wok cooking a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items
- Following the sanitization standards, making sure the station stays clean, and following all of the food handling safety standards
- Understands the wok cooking process and understands how to develop wok-hei even in a high-volume setting
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Has 1-2 years of high-volume wok experience
- Has good communication skills
- Is comfortable standing for 8 hour shifts
- Can lift up to 50 pounds
- Has the flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Has experience in quality food production, presentation, service, and sanitation
- Has advanced understanding of professional cooking, knife handling skills, wok safety skills and a voracious appetite for knowledge
- Open availability to work (days or nights, weekends and some holidays)
