As a coach and mentor, you would be responsible for guiding and mentoring our students.

The Emerging Young Adult Coach/Mentor reports to the Residential Manager and supports various activities in a free-standing team home, following the student schedule and models safe and trusting relationships. The Coach/Mentor will ensure student safety by maintaining firm boundaries and expectations as well as offering constant supervision. This position also requires the Coach/Mentor to collaborate with the Residential Manager to fulfill Calo's core purpose to "profoundly change lives and create joy." -Ensure implementation of Calo culture, norms, systems, and processes -Timely emails and communication -Maintain confidentiality of students, parents, and staff -Work closely with shift leads and other coaches to facilitate student schedule and ensure safety in the team home -Maintain safe boundaries and relationships with students and fellow staff -Help to ensure the day-to-day operations of the team home, light cleaning, some meal preparation and incorporate life skills learning.

Required:
- High School diploma or GED
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks
- A desire to facilitate student growth through a team approach while working with other care providers
Preferred:
- Experience working with youth (camps, church groups, sports teams, etc.)
- CPR Certified
