Duties and Responsibilities
- Sort and assemble outgoing mail for daily mailing, process outgoing mail using the existing Pitney Bowes Metering System to apply the appropriate Canada Post postage
- Process packages using Purolator’s System for outgoing packages (under existing agreement)
- Ensure adherence to both Canada Post requirements and numerous courier company protocols
- Track various types of information including regular departmental postage costs, courier manifests, reports etc
- Ensure that all good received are following established College purchasing policies in support of the Supply Clerk position
- Coordinate the return of equipment/supplies to vendors where they do not meet College purchase order requirements; maintain accurate and concise records
- Participate in the internal delivery and pick-up of goods and assist truck drivers as required
- Two- year postsecondary diploma, preferably in Business. (A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application)
- One year of experience in quick and accurate data entry along with experience in an environment where effective and tactful communication skills were utilized.
- Self-starter with good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills and a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Knowledge of TeamDynamix
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service.
- Collaborative professional who promotes teamwork and works cohesively within a team-oriented environment.
