Senior Corporate Events Marketing Consultant

The event marketing consultant will work within the Events & Education team to plan and execute well developed marketing for our events for our financial professionals.

Essential Duties

• Meet business objectives in all stages of marketing, planning, and design while maintaining the overall event theme in all marketing collateral.
• Expertly drive pre-event weekly meetings, including presentation and agenda development.
• Collaborate on the development and implementation of the messaging, promotions and communications for events
• Assist with onsite presence which could include ensuring proper set-up and signage, registration coordination, AV testing, speaker and meeting management, staff enablement and training, collateral and swag distribution, structure break-down, and problem-solving disruptions.
• Manage event procurement process including purchase orders and contracts, processing of payments, accurate record keeping and expense analysis. Complete all post-event financials.
• Conduct market research, gather information, identify new opportunities, and generate brand interest. Articulate new insights to improve services and event quality.
• Manage relationships with third-party companies handling overall execution.
• Present ideas and coordination to department leadership with outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Manage event calendar, project timelines, and event budget. Be attentive to the value of staying under budget. Anticipate and plan for disruptions. Ability to delegate where needed.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Cambridge’s marketing and communications team, sales, and management to achieve business goals.

This position does require travel for 6-8 events or site visits per year. This position would also require quarterly attendance at onsite meeting in Fairfield, IA. 

Education & Experience

Two or more years of related experience, education and/or training.

Certificates & Licenses

No licenses or certificates are required for this position.

Compensation: $43,500-$53,000. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The actual pay offered to a specific candidate may vary above or below the stated range.
