Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. (CIL) is searching for a Group Leader within our Research Products team based onsite in our Andover, MA facility. CIL's growing customer base spans academia, pharmaceutical, medical diagnostic and semiconductor industries enabling collaborations with Nobel laureates, industry-leading scientists, and chemists. CIL is a subsidiary of the Otsuka Pharmaceutical Group and has had consistent growth for over 40 years.
The Group Leader, RP is responsible for overseeing a team (typically 4 – 7) of BS/MS and PhD level Chemists performing the de novo synthesis of a wide variety of isotopically labeled targets to customer and production requirements. Managerial responsibilities include: being a safety leader, understanding safety policies, ensuring the implementation of safety policies, work supervision and evaluation, performance development, driving continuous improvement projects and addressing employee relations issues. Additionally, the Group Leader, RP is responsible for carrying out complex, non-routine synthetic chemistry.
