What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Watch Attendant position at Campanelli YMCA?
The Campanelli YMCA is looking for caring and responsible individuals to provide supervised care for children ages 4months-10 years of age in our Child Watch program. Our program is to provide supervised care while members of our facility work out in our fitness center, pool, etc. Great opportunity for mothers and others!
Job Responsibilities
- Closely Supervising and interacting with children
- Care for and nurture infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-agers
- Provide a safe environment
- Leading activities such as crafts and art, and playing games with children
- Communicating with parents, providing updates where required, and answering questions about the program
Qulifications
- At least 1 year of expereince working with children is preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- CPR, AED and First Aid Certifications (YMCA will provide)
- A good role model the chidlren can look up to
Schedule
M/T/W/Th: 5:00 pm-8:00 pm
Some Saturdays 8:30am-12:00pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 per hour
