Good Sam Enterprises
Manager, Insurance & Finance
This is a hybrid role to be based out of our Chicago and or Lincolnshire, IL offices. Consideration will also be given to Denver based candidates.
Good Sam Enterprises is looking to fill a Manager of Insurance & Finance position to concentrate on growth opportunities within an already-established multi-million dollar insurance, warranty, and finance businesses. The Manager position will coordinate with internal business unit owners, cross-functional leaders and other key stakeholders to run the current business as well as drive new business opportunities.
The Manager will be responsible overseeing the operations for the Good Sam Insurance Agency (GSIA), and the Finance Center businesses. This responsibility will include reporting, process management, some client and partner interactions, as well as the execution of growth plans. From time to time, the position will take responsibility for assessing opportunities to further drive profitability in the marketplace through initiatives such as RV Rentals. This position will also require interpersonal skills to effectively collaboration with business unit leaders, marketing, technology, and other enterprise stakeholders to ensure an aligned strategy and execution. The Manager of Insurance & Warranty Services will report directly to the Senior Director of Insurance & Warranty.
Responsibilities
Project Management
- Deliver projects and in a timely manner as well as within budget parameters.
- Manage related project approvals and identify needed resources to scope, develop and execute product launches.
- Identify potential segments of business that will drive Good Sam's growth and profitability.
- Build short- and long-term roadmaps to achieve key objectives and communicate progress to executives within the enterprise.
- Identify and escalate opportunities for improvement and drive action plans to deliver specific goals or KPIs.
- Ensure cross-enterprise stakeholders continue to drive appropriate business KPIs.
- Provide results and KPI assessments with improvement plans delivered to the stakeholders.
Vendor Management
- Be a point-of-contact for internal finance center expansion to new products & services.
- Work with financing partners to expand product offerings that support different customer needs and support tactical efforts as needed.
Compliance & Licensing
- Ensure regular and ongoing compliance is maintained for the Agency, including all products and services.
- Monitor licensing of the Agency, the agents, and ensure that any other reporting is filed in a timely and acceptable manner.
Other Responsibilities
- Drive enhanced digital experiences for the Insurance Agency and Finance Center products
- Ensure continued iteration and development for an enhanced digital experience to ensure lowest barrier to conversion for customers.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in operations, sales, business development, marketing, or related field.
- 3 years of insurance or related industry experience required.
- 5 years of project management experience.
- Some experience with partner and vendor management preferable.
Knowledge & Skills
