We are seeking a Grants Manager to potentially support the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in Washington, DC. This contingent position is in support of a contract activity for USAID’s Anti-Corruption Task Force. This position is a contingent position that is subject to a federal contract award.

Responsibilities

The Grants Manager will oversee grants, grantee compliance, report on grant activities, maintain and manage grant agreements, issue grants solicitations, and evaluate grant proposals based on responsiveness, cost realism, regulatory compliance and risk analysis and mitigation. The Grants Manager will also:

  • Provide grant oversight and capacity building support for grants issued under USAID task orders.
  • Maintain and manage records of grant agreements including paper and electronic files, an inventory of all agreements, and a schedule of dates and deadlines relevant to those agreements.
  • Provide regular updates on grantee compliance, risks and challenges that may arise and offer solutions.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA), Master’s Degree preferred (MS/MA/MD).
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in donor-funded projects, international organizations, or public institutions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, diplomatic and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to draft high quality deliverables.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with government officials, beneficiaries and partners.
  • Ability to support program team members to excel and deliver high-quality results on time.
  • Fluency in English.

Candidates must be prepared to fully-complete any required background check questionnaire during initial onboarding.
