What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Assistant position at CAMS Mgt.?
CAMS is searching for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Assistant to aid in the management of a community on Bald Head Island consisting of a Clubhouse, Pool, Fitness Center, twenty-three cottages, and six crofters. Prior Maintenance, Property Management and/or Hospitality experience is helpful.
Responsibilities (Daily, Weekly, Annually)
- Assist in Daily Communication with Owners and help to resolve issues presented
- Assist with exterior property inspections
- Assist Facilities Manager with repairs and general maintenance of cottage interiors, exteriors, and common areas
- Assist with common amenities (pool, pool furniture, fitness equipment, baths and grill) maintenance
- Assist with maintenance and repairs of bicycle inventory
- Assist with Reporting and Tracking of maintenance issues or concerns
- Assist Facilities Manager 3rd party vendors oversight
- Golf Cart Inspections and general maintenance
- Upholstery/Rug Cleaning
- Laundering of swimming pool towels (May through September)
- Assist with cottage change over tasks
- Pressure washing of walkways, cottages, and common areas
- Cottage inventory inspections to identify missing and damaged housewares
- Perform other duties as assigned

Benefits & Salary
Salary range is commensurate with experience ranging from $40,000-$45,000 annually to include benefits: Health & Dental Insurance, PTO, Company Holidays, 401(k), Short Term & Long Term disability, Life Insurance, etc.
A Marina & Ferry Parking Pass will be given to the Maintenance Assistant to get to and from the Island to report to work on Bald Head Island.
