Job Summary

Responsible for clinical content creation and implementation of programs across the Enterprise for Peer Support, Moral Distress, Trauma Informed Care and any future Enterprise initiatives that relates to teammate facing Trauma Informed Services scope.  This position is responsible for managing relationships, identifying solutions for teammates and physicians, and implementing all the programs and initiatives identified in this area.  Integrates efforts and collaborates with other relevant departments, including but not limited to Human Resources, Teammate Experience, Patient Experience, Best place to Care, Population Health, Mission and Spiritual Care, Organizational Excellence, Organizational Development, Leadership Development, Medical Education and Faculty Development, Quality and Safety, Medical Executive Committees, Medical Staff Services, DE&I, External Affairs, Foundation, Nursing Administration, Healthcare Information Technology and other areas in the Enterprise.  This position will also be the point of contact for the Southeast Region of Advocate Health. 



Essential Functions
 

  • Implements and monitors the operations of Trauma Recovery & Resilience programs, ensuring accountability towards effective execution across the Enterprise.
  • Develops and cultivates productive working relationships with Enterprise leaders, physicians and teammates to identify impactful content creation needs and ensure success of the Trauma Recovery & Resilience programs.
  • Contributes to the design and deployment of clinical models impacted by Trauma Recovery and Resilience programs across the Enterprise.
  • Participates in Enterprise virtual and in person trainings for all topics within the Trauma Recovery & Resilience. 
  • Identify key performance metrics and outcome measures to measure impact of Trauma Recovery and Resilience programs. 
  • Participates in longitudinal assessment of Trauma Informed Services, policies and procedures across the Enterprise and the continuous assessment of the efficacy of Trauma Informed interventions including progression towards Enterprise goals.
  • Collaborates Enterprise Experience and Community Strategy to ensure infusion of Trauma Recovery & Resilience programs into overall culture of the Enterprise. 
  • Responsible for maintaining a system that catalogues, assesses, and aligns the Trauma Recovery & Resilience programs across the Enterprise.
  • Develops strategy for tracking performance metrics of Trauma Recovery and Resilience programs to inform strategy to operationalize and expand Trauma Recovery and Resilience Programs, enhance programs, and increase engagement with programs and program content.
  • Contribute to data collection and data analysis to support research on the impact, outcomes, and program evaluation for enhancement of Trauma Recovery and Resilience Programs and body of literature on Peer Support, Trauma-Informed Care, and Moral Distress and other future programs/initiatives and to inform content development and implementation of programming to best meet the needs of Advocate Health. 
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for Trauma Recovery & Resilience for the Southeast Region and a backup for the Midwest Region.

.Physical Requirements
This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions. 

  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
  • Weekend and various hours of the day for rounding and strategic planning when necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Exposed to a normal office environment.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, as necessary



Education, Experience and Certifications
 Level of Education:  Masters or Doctorate

Field of Study (if applicable):  Behavioral health or trauma 

Years of Experience:  4 or more years 

Describe Type Experience:  Leadership, research, trauma informed care, trauma, presentations, collaboration with system, program implementation, expansion and management.
