Candidate Source has an opening for a Project Assistant with a commercial construction firm that is based in Richmond, VA. As a Project Assistant you will help manage the day-to-day flow of the office and support the management team with client requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for our office, greeting visitors and managing phone communications with professionalism.
Coordinate the creation of subcontractor contracts and maintain up-to-date trade specifications.
Manage comprehensive project documentation, including subcontractor lists, cost sheets, drawings, and permits.
Facilitate logistics for field personnel, including scheduling accommodations and arranging transport.
Oversee company assets, including tools, inventory, and vehicles.
Assist with project coordination tasks, such as material orders and minor plan takeoffs.
General Knowledge & Skills:
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers, suppliers, and team members.
Strong organizational skills to handle large volumes of information efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
Previous experience in a construction environment and/or a Notary License is a plus.
