Deli Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deli Manager to oversee our deli operations. We are a neighborhood grocery store with a devoted customer base and a long track record. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food service management, ensuring the deli runs smoothly and efficiently.

**Responsibilities:**

- Manage day-to-day operations of the deli, including staff supervision, customer service, and food quality control

- Work closely with the Executive Chef and store management to achieve goals.

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high cleanliness standards

- Oversee inventory control, ordering, and stocking of deli products

- Train and develop deli staff on proper procedures and customer service

- Utilize POS systems for transactions and reporting

- Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food preparation and storage

- Assist in banquet or catering services as needed

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in hospitality management or food service management

- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations

- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and inventory tracking

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively

- Culinary background or understanding is a plus

- Prior experience as an assistant manager or in restaurant management is beneficial

- Ability to handle inventory control efficiently
